Opteron vs. Athlon 64?

What is the main difference between the two?

I think these are the basics.

Athlon64 - workstation chip, smaller CPU cache, no ECC support

Opteron - server-class chip, larger CPU cache, ECC support, support for
multiple CPUs (model #s: 1xx - single CPU only, 2xx - dual CPU capable,
8xx - quad/8way? capable). i.e. Opteron 246 is a CPU that can be used
in a 2-way configuration.

Both support dual-core now (Athlon64 X2s or Opteron model #s: x65, x70,
x75, x80 chips).
