"Operation has been canceled due to restrictions..." message

I have suddenly started to receive a message when I attempt to hyperlink from
any of my incoming Outlook messages that states: "This operation has been
canceled due
to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator." Can anyone tell me how I can turn off these restrictions?
I've tried to reset IE and this doesn't work. Thanks!

Hi Laura,
please reset your web settings
Open your Internet Explorer > Tools > Internetoptions > Programm > Reset Web
Settings

Andreas,

As I stated in my posting, I have tried resetting my Web Settings in IE but
it has not solved my problem. Do you or anyone else have any other
suggestions?

Andreas,

Thanks! I didn't have any of the symptoms listed in the Cause but decided
to follow the Work Around instructions anyway. Despite the fact that my
settings were exactly the way they should have been, I went through the steps
anyway and doing that seemed to fix the problem. The only explanation I have
is that Gremlins invaded my computer :) ! I appreciate the fix! Thanks so
much!
