Opening attachments

I have Hotmail thru MSN Explorer. Since upgrading to Vista Home Premium, I
am unable to open attachment with an .email extension. There is no .email in
the file association screen. Any help? thanks

same system, same problem, try clicking view (with in email) than click
message in html, works for me, good luck

If you mean selecting HTML encoding to write a message, that's the way it's
set up. I don't see anyway to select how to view an attachment. What am I
missing? Thanks.

I don't know if hotmail/explorer is different (in screen presentation) then
vista home premium/winmail but I did have the same problem. I have a 2 wk.
old HP Pavilion a1700n multimedia desktop,when an email with attachments
arrives I call it up and at the top of the email(not the top of the screen) I
click on view, when the choices for view appear I click on "message in html"
and the attachment appears. this has nothing to do with encoding to write a
message, it's all about reading the message.
Sure hope this helps to explain what works for me.
