Opening antispyware - Setup Assistant

I had to reinstall everything on my pc including microsoft antispyware, now
every time I open the application from the little icon near the clock it
opens the setup assistant evey time. Even if I go through and choose the
options and then close the program it will do it again if I try and open it
again.

Any ideas to explain this?

I can't explain it--except that I suspect that one or more of the files
where completion of the wizard is recorded--is corrupted.

My reccomendation is to 1) uninstall Microsoft antispyware
2) delete the \program files\microsoft antispyware folder and all
sub-folders
3) reinstall Microsoft Antispyware

You'll lose access to any quarantined items, history, and customized
settings.

I believe this should take care of it--let me know?

I have the same problem and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software.
It didn't used to be this way so something changed in the current version of
the antispyware software.
