Can anyone tell me how to calculate a standard error on
an Access 2000 report. I am already calculating a mean
(AVG) and a standard error (Stderr), but I need to
include a standard error for statistical testing
purposes. My report will be useless without it, so im
hoping someone can help me out

Thanks
Bill

Correction to the message below. I am already
calculating a mean (AVG) and a standard deviation
(STDDEV). I need to know how to calculate a standard
error. All of these calcuations are taking place in a
text box on a report, based on a field in a query.

Sorry for the cofusion

From a statistics book:

"<Sigma>X-bar is frequently called the 'standard error of the
mean' or simply the 'standard error':

SE = Sigma / Sqrt(N)

So just divide the standard deviation by the square root of the count
of records.
