I have the same probelme. I was able to send e-mails the day before but now
I can not. I spoke to my ISP and they say it is an Outlook thing. I checked
with Mcafee and it is not a firewall problem.

people have been telling me to check my Pop3 and SMTP ports which are fine.
I have deleted and recreated my profile and no help.

If there is some one out there that can help. please do. If the help
suggestion is to call microsoft then let me know that as well. I have been
dealling with this for a week now

Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and try again.

THE ISSUE WAS WITH MT ISP. They did not know that I had changed from a
Personal Account to a corp. account and because of that my SMTP was changed.
Easy fix once they understood the problem
