On my Desktop all my program icons dissapeared

And i cant make them reappear eaven know i can accsess all these missing
programs by cliking the start button when i right click a program and click
send to - create shortcut to the desktop no shortcut ever appears on my
desktop . Pls help someone.

Have you checked the following?
Right click on the Desktop.
Move the cursor over "Arrange icons by".
On the menu that pops out, look for a check mark next to "Show
desktop icons".
If there isn't a check mark, click on "Show desktop icons".
