Old Windows Files

Today, I installed Windows Vista Home Premium. I selected upgrade when asked
what type of installation. Vista is up and running, but I'm missing a lot of
files and applications in the "windows.old" file. I've tried searching on the
official site and the forums, but so far nothing.

Could you please point me in the right direction?

Hello,

In an upgrade install, Windows should move as many of your files as possible
from Windows.old to their equivalent location in Windows Vista.

Have you checked inside the Windows Vista folders for your files?
