Old user accounts after System Recovery

I did a System Recovery which removed all user accounts but not all their
files/folders that existed under "Documents and Settings".
After I recreate the accounts and logon to them, the new user-name folder
gets created but with the computer name appended to it's name. Example
folder "Documents and Settings/Hannah.LongNameOfComputer" is created
automatically. If I log off and rename it to just "Documents and
Settings/Hannah", as soon as Hannah logs on, the long named folder is
recreated and the renamed folder is ignored.
What can I do to get the new user account to use the old folders?
