Old Emails delivered as New again and again

Hell

Recently i am facing this problem with my Outlook

I have configured my Outlook to a pop3 account and i have configured in such a way that when downloading from the pop3 server, a copy of the email will be left in the server.

Recently, since last week, Some of the old emails which was delivered in outlook are delivered again as new emails. Even though i deleted those emails in outlook, it keeps coming again and again as new emails

I ran a complete scan for virus, results were negative. I also tried repairing the .pst file and no errors were found. So i am not sure what the problem is. As a last option, i am thinking of uninstalling outlook and reinstalling it and create a new .pst file.

I also check with the pop3 account admins and they confirmed that there is no problem with their servers. Can someone help/advise

Thank
ak.

You're problems are because you are leaving a copy on the
server. Everytime you shceck for new messages it will
grab anything that is on the server. If they are never
removed, they will keep coming back as new. Basically,
don't leave a copy on the server unless you want it to
download everytime you check for messages
