OL 2k3 search folder by message category

In Outlook 2003 I just created a search folder to show all messages where
category = "whatever" (which was added to the master category list). I have
assigned various messages that particular category but they are not
appearing in the search folder. Am I missing a step?

which tab are you creating it on and are you using quotes there too?

In favorite folders I right clicked on an existing search folder and
selected "New Search Folder" and entered the appropriate information. I did
not use quotes for the message subject.

After I created the search folder I went to the 'all mail folders' sub pane,
grabbed the newly created search folder and dragged it into Favorite
Folders.

which tab are you creating it on and are you using quotes there too?
