OL 2007 mail acct tests OK, but no mail inbox

I have Outlook 2007 with several POP3 and IMAP accounts configured. Opening
the Account Center I can test all of them successfully. One of the IMAP
accounts that tests successfully shows no mail incoming for several days
now. I went to a web based mail client and logged into the server and it
shows all the mail sitting there unread including the tests I sent.
Can anyone give me a clue what's wrong?
Thanks in advance

I disabled (Alwil AVAST) but it still does not receive mail on that account.
I have other IMAP accounts on the same server and they work fine. I am
trying to figure out why this one stopped. It stopped working 10 days ago. I
noticed I was using SSL on the other accounts and changed it on this one as
well. It checked out fine receiving and sending but still nothing new shows
in the inbox. The only thing I can remember happened about that time is that
I allowed it to archive old items.

"> Do you perhaps have a virus scanner installed that integrates with
Outlook?

Have you tried deleting this account, closing Outlook, making sure the PST
associated with the account is gone, then starting Outlook and re-adding the
account?

First I tried repairing Office 2007 and still didn't work. Then tried your
advice, now it gave me more than I had before.
It took several seconds to download hierarchy and now shows all sub-folders
(drafts, junk, sent, trash). I am going to try that on the accounts that
work and see if it will give me similar results. I can now save my sent
items on the server instead of the default "Outlook Sent Items folder". Is
there a KB article that gives more info on syncing IMAP accounts?
Thanks for your assistance.

There are a few, but they're lacking in details. IMAP within OUtlook is a
poorly written trasnport, in my opinion. Other IMAP clients do a better
job.
