I am suddenly having a toolbar open in most new internet
sites that I open. It is blue and when I right click on
the toolbar area "okshshdrqpr" is listed below "Standard
buttons", "Address bar", "Links" and "Norton Antivirus".
If I uncheck it the toolbar goes away but keeps
reappearing on subsequent pages. It is very annoying.
Where did it suddenly come from and how can I get rid of
it?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

The unknown toolbar entry can be removed using Toolbarcop.

Using ToolbarCop to remove the unwanted Toolband, Toolbar Icons and BHO:

Also, download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system and eliminate the malware products. Update the pattern file using WebUpdate in Ad-Aware.
