Hi
New to group and need some help or advice!
I recently bought The Sims 2 on DVD and after a few plays my daughter
has cracked the DVD at the centre trying to take it out of the DVD
player and the game no longer runs. Is there a link to a download site
where I can get a copy of the program, burn it to DVD and then run the
game using my DVD key?

Any positive help would be greatly appreciated and make a little girl
very happy.

EA should be able to replace it for a modest fee. If you're in the EU
though try asking the retailer where you got it from, a little white lie
like it was broken in the box and it was a birthday present might get the
job done too.

A no-CD patch would get it running without the disc, but that's not much use
if it needs re-installing in the future.

There is a no CD patch that will allow game to run but game may have
problems. The best is to find the "fixed image" and mount with Daemon Tools.
