Offlining Files

Since my previous postings have not brought a reply I restate without the
detail:
My MCE systen states:
"Fast User Switching is enabled on this computer. Offline Files cannot be
enabled while Fast User Switching is enabled.
To change your Fast User Switching setting, open User Accounts in Control
Panel and select "Change the way users log on or off"".

Control Panel\User Accounts shows "Use Fast User Switching" box" UNchecked.
(This is exactly the OPPOSITE to what was stated earlier).

Is this some undocumented difference between XP PRO and MCE or can I do
something about it please.

I really would like help on this as I'm using disproportionate time on this.
Where are the experts?
PS I have read so many items on this on the internet. Why is it that none
of these seem to have any comment/knowledge of my problem.

I don't know the answer but I do know that MCE needs fast user switching
enabled for media extenders. That is why MCE cannot join a domain. Perhaps
this is related to your problem.

Thanks for your reply Kerry. Perhaps you're right. Strange though that the
info. is directly contradictory.
