Because the pages aren't cached? How big is your TIF?
Have you done any large downloads recently?
The 20 days just means that the History will be retained that long.
The actual pages, provided they were cacheable in the first place,
are stored separately in the TIF and its contents may be replaced
independently of that.
Essentially the History is just a list of URLs that you have visited
and the TIF is *some* of the content that you have downloaded
plus any URLs necessary to allow that content to be re-rendered
by fetching from the TIF only.
