Office XP with Outlook 2003

My company bought the Licenses for Outlook 2003 ONLY and when I installed it
on top of office XP the "Use MS word 2003 as your email editor" is grayed
out. Is there a way to make word 2002 be the mail editor?

No, you need Word 2003 unfortunately.
Personally, I think they should be bundled together (at least to a limited
extent).
