Office Settings and Remove Sent Items

Don Jones

Have two questions:

1) Where are the Outlook settings stored, I am thinking in
the users profile? If in the profile, can these settings
be redirected to the users Home Directory?

2) Is there a way to automatically permantly delete
messages in the sent items folder?

Working on implementing a terminal server farm where the
users use roaming profiles and home directories. Have the
outlook settings in the home directory will allow us to go
to using mandatory profiles.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reponse.

I know you can use shift+delete to permantly delete the
messages, I am looking for a way to do it automatically.
The users do not have access to Outlook directly. They
have access via an Application and only to send messages.

Thanks.

I don't know what you mean by automatically in this context. If some other
application is creating the messages, then it can set the DeleteAfterSubmit
property so as not to save them in Sent Items.
