Office 2007 impossible to install outlook

For about the 10th attempt at installing office 2007 trial - After
uninstalling everything (microsoft office xp professional, beta 2007 and
trial version 2007) and going to a new trial install, I used the custom set
up and checked outlook. It now shows up on my "all programs" list but when I
open it opens a partial first page and then locks up. As bad as this is, my
other programs (word, excell, etc....) now have a pop up show up when I open
telling my me trial version has expired and do I wish to convert.

The part 2 of the trial version install will not install still. I continue
to get the following message: Microsoft Office Professional 2007 CD2 Set Up
has failed. If the problem persists, please contact product support.

My problem persists and this is the only support I can find. Any thoughts?

Diane - Good Morning and Happy New Year.

The opening refers to outlook. Not sure how to answer your new profile
question. I have not made in the last couple of days since my old outlook
(2002) was reinstalled after I uninstalled the Beta 2007. During the process
of reinstalling outlook, I contacted Microsoft (Case # 1026468186) and they
did make a new profile that worked with the reinstall.

The "CD 2" language is in the message I receive when the install of the 2nd
part of the trial version which on the "Try the trial version" page is called
Download 1 and Download 2 - I have copied from the page:

How to Download the Product:
• Click the "Download Now" button. Some products will require two separate
downloads - you will need to click both "Download Now" buttons.
