Office 2003 trial question

I have downloaded the 60-day trial of Office 2003 from Microsoft. When I
install, it gives me the option of upgrading Word, Excel, etc, but says that
in order to install the trial version I MUST upgrade Outlook from my current
XP to 2003.

I am interested in testing the Outlook contact manager, but if I decide NOT
to purchase Office 2003, can I easily revert back to XP?? What's going to
happen when A) the trial period runs out, or B) I uninstall the newer
version??

Thanks.

If you rely upon the integration of Outlook and Word (for mail merges or
because you compose your messages in Word), then the versions of Outlook and
Word must match.

Perhaps. As long as you do NOT create any Outlook 2003 Unicode-format PSTs,
then you shouldn't have too much trouble.

The program will stop working.

You will probably need to reinstall your older version.
