How do you count the number of sentences in your work?
You can use a fairly simple macro to compute this
information. Note that it only looks at the main body of
the document:

Sub CountSentences()
MsgBox "This document contains " & _
ActiveDocument.Content.Sentences.Count & _
sentences."
End Sub

With great difficulty. It isn't a feature of Word's statistics summary
because it is difficult to distinguish what exactly comprises a sentence.
For example, start a sentence saying, "The computer features the following
enhancements:", which is then followed by 10 bullet points. How many
sentences have been written?
