OE Attachment Problem

Using OE 6 and Win Xp Home Edition I get email attachments
with a small square box with an X inside. Under Advanced
tab in OE I have checked show pictures but this did not
solve the problem. Suggestions?

Tools, options, security tab, un-tick "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened
that could potentially be a virus"

Tried your suggestion. No better. Sent this as a forward

to a friend and they had no problem. Just curious what I
have set wrong.
