Odd registry key?

To preface: For several months now I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to
ferret out a solution to a DVDRW problem using the online support pages of my
pc manufacturer (HP), the hardware manufacturer (Lite-On), as well as those
of all cd burning software currently installed. The latest steps I've taken
involved deleting the upper and lower filters keys for the DVDRW, which
failed to "fix" it. Which brings me to my question:
While "poking" around in regedit I found an entry related to the DVD
that looked a bit odd to me & I could think of no better place to
get an accurate explanation than here. This is what I found:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
SYSTEM\
CurrentControlSet\
Control\
DeviceClasses\
{1186654d-47b8-48b9-beb9-7df113ae3c67}\
##?#IDE#CdRomLITE-ON_DVDRW_SOHW-1633S________________BPSD____#5&2a6b0538&0&0.0.0#{1186654d-47b8-48b9-beb9-7df113ae3c67}

It is the last line of the key that looks strange, what with all the pound
signs and that question mark, etc.

Is this a cause for concern, or just typical "PC Greek" nomenclature?

Thanks in advance for your patience and assistance.

It may look strange but whatever you do, don't delete it.

OH, I wouldn't dream of it....but thank you anyway.

Indeed it looks strange, especially considering that it is the only entry
that I found so far that looks that way; nevertheless, I've become accustomed
to the peculiar & nonsensical as far as pc's are concerned, prompting me to
stick to one hard and fast rule: Never, ever, absolutely and unequivocally
delete anything even remotely OS related, unless I know exactly what I'm
doing (which is not usually the case), or I'm ready to scrap it.

I was also secretly hoping that it might be the reason for my DVD woes;
alas, I shall not be getting off so easy, so it's off to the hardware forum
for me!
