ODBC Transfer with the database

I currently have an access database that links in with the Remedy tool
for Incidents in the background. Data table return as expected.

I can use either a standard SQL connection or using the Remedy driver
itself.

However, when I allow other people access to the access database the
connection doesn't work (from their PCs). ODBC connection error. Is
there anyway to 'embed' the driver/connection details direct into
Access? If I was to do this in Excel this seems to work fine?

Would appreciate any guidance on how to ensure this link isn't lost?

Thanks, Al.

Are you using a DSN? Did you create the same DSN on each user's desktop?

I've set my own name for the connection of "Remedy". Don't know much
about DNS etc. but if that is what this is then yes? I can find out
further information on this detail once on-line @ work tomorrow if I
know what I need to check for?

Basically I enter server name; Port ID (6666); login name; login
password and then my name for the database.

Thanks in advance, Al.
