ODBC link to AS400 in Access 2007

I don't even know how to describe my problem. I am linking to an AS400
logical file through ODBC in Access 2007. However, the records that are
resulting are not what are in AS400. For example, using AS400 query, I
select all records for a specific claim. I get 4 records, each representing
a different transaction on a different date. However, when I filter the
linked table in Access for the same claim, I get 4 records, each showing the
same transaction for the same date - I get 4 records for transaction 60 on
20070918. I don't seem to have this same problem on the other physical files
that I am linking to. And - I can't use the physical file for the one I am
having problems with. That physical file has too many indexes and is to big
to use a pass-through query. Does anyone have any insight? I can supply
other information if I haven't explained myself well enough. Thanks.

When you created the link were you prompted to select fields to create a
local unique index with? Selecting fields in that prompt that are really
NOT unique will cause what you are seeing.
