Nvidia Ti 4600 AND DX 9

When I right click on desktop and select Properties - Settings - Advanced
and then try to select the GeForce4 Ti 4600 Tab, all I get is Error report "
Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close.....etc".
Has anyone else had this and does this have anything to do with DX 9 (I have
now tried DX 9b also) and my graphics card? My NVIDIA driver is up to date.

I now know that Ti4600 from NVIDIA does not support DX 9, would this DX
update download have caused this error report? I did not notice it until
recently, long after the DX update.

I am unable to change the properties of the graphics accelerator while this
problem exists. I would like to know what is causing it if anyone has any
ideas please.

After advise on NVIDIA drivers, downloading the International driver instead
of the English driver solved the problem. Hope this will help anyone else
who comes up with the error.
