I just received my new computer a couple of weeks ago and have had several
problems. The current one involves the Nvidia Graphics and this is the
problem my machine proposed: It is a video hardware driver issue error with
compatibility. The computer is a Compaq SR5130NX with Windows Vista but I
don't know how to tell what kinds of Graphics driver it has and I have a
FS7550 Compaq monitor. I tried to follow the listed recommendations but got
confused when I went to the Nvidia website because it listed all kinds of
different Graphics Drivers for Nvidia and I couldn't figure out which one I
had. Can you help me please.? Thank you.
This problem was caused by NVIDIA Graphics Driver. This program was created
by NVIDIA Corporation. NVIDIA Corporation does not currently have a solution
for the problem that you reported.

The following troubleshooting steps might prevent the problem from recurring.

Download and install an updated version of NVIDIA Graphics Driver from one
of the following locations:
Microsoft Update
NVIDIA Corporation
If an updated driver is not available for NVIDIA Graphics Driver, check with
your computer manufacturer.
If you are running the latest version of NVIDIA Graphics Driver, contact
NVIDIA Corporation for your support options.

Control Panel (Classic view) > Device Manager > Click on the plus sign next to
Display adapters and the name of the adapter should be shown (you can right
click on the entry and select Properties for more information).

The place to check for your specific Video Driver would be the Compaq
website.
Exactly what does your system do...just before the message comes up??
If you open Control Panel/Device manager........under display adaptors it
should tell you which Nvidea Video you have.
Using this information you can go to the Nvidea website and do a driver
search for Vista drivers for that specific card.
