novice: import / export gpo's

dear gpo gurus,
i defined a few gpo in a w2k3 domain. is it possible to export these
policies and import them on a other dc without any problems ?

There's a free tool called Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) from
Microsoft which is capable of that. It has a lot of other nice features
and is really worth a look at:

If you have any domain specific information in the GPO (SIDs etc.) they will
need to be translated with a migration table. It is pretty easy to work
with...

Check out http://www.gpoguy.com/Training.htm session 100.4. Darren does a
great job walking through the export/import/migration stuff.
