notepad.exe

I believe I deleted notepad.exe when Norton quarantined a
file which I later deleted. Now I cannot open txt files.
How can I re-install notepad.exe.

Copy it from someone else's (XP) computer. It's in
C:\Windows (put it back there) and is only about 66K,
it'll fit on a floppy disk. Look in the Windows folder
first to be sure you deleted it . . .

Hi Ron,

Note: The wrong notepad.exe was deleted. The one from the QAZ trojan
needed to be removed from the runkey. And then for a Search for Note.com
and rename it to Notepad.exe.
