not sure why my printer is not working

had to get my computer cleared cause it wouldnt close down pop ups and
wouldnt shut down either now i cant get my hp psc 1210 all in one printer
scanner and copier to work. every time i want to print something it wont
print. it is all conected up properly and the lights are on. i dont know if i
need to ree stall it to the computer as i did,nt set it all up when i got it.
im still learning all about them and how to use them so i would appreciate if
you could point me in the right direction please.

Navigate to Start Printers and faxes. Delete the printer driver.
Disconnect one end of the cable attaching the unit to the computer.
Restart your computer. Reinstall the printer driver. There are a few
steps required for that process.

Download the Software cleanup utility (in the Utility section of the
list) and the printer driver (The only entry in the Driver section).

Run the cleanup utility. Run the printer install by following the
instructions on the screen. Reattach the printer cable only when the
instructions tell you. These instructions will appear when you click on
the link to download the driver.

As an alternative to downloading the driver, you can use the CD that
came with the unit. It is the same software. Still-get and use the
cleanup utility before using the CD.
