not sure [blaster worm]

Hi,
I am hoping somebody can please help me...
I have Windows 2000 Professional, and honestly don't know
what the problem is at this point.I downloaded the
Microsoft Patch, and ran the Removal Tool from Symantec.
It said the virus was not found on my computer. The
msblast.exe file is not in my registry or listed in the
task manager.

THE WINDOWS UPDATE PAGE WILL NOT LOAD AND NEITHER WILL THE
MICROSOFT.COM SITE...what is the problem?

Please try again, we've been getting a lot of traffic on
windowsupdate.microsoft.com from people trying to download the security
updates. Or you can download the update directly from
http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp
