Not sending & receiving

My Send/Receive button on my toolbar is not working, nor
is the automatic send/receive setting. Even the menu
command Tools> Send/Receive> Send and Receive All (F9)
does not work. From the menu, I must hit Tools>
Send/Receive> 6 All Accounts. This is the only way to
check email. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am using
Outlook 2002 on XP.

I would make sure you are running the latest Outlook 2002 service pack 3.

On each email account you have the possibility to choose something like
"onclude this account when sending/receiving", by default this is turned on.
If you have turned this on then you would only be able to do it with check
all 6 accounts.
