Not saving homepage

Options - Set current , the problem is that when i reboot it reverts
back to :-

Security software preventing changing of the home page perhaps? What have
you got for security software running?

Found out the cause of the problem

I use a IBM laptop and connect using Thinkvantage Access Connection software
, The homepage is defined within these settings

Cool, thanks for letting us/me know. I'll actually try to load that into my
needing to be degragged memory and we'll see what happens. I'd have been a
million and ten years trying to figure that one out on my own (without more
information that is) had you not found it. Thanks.
