Not Receiving my website emails in my Windows Mail Inbox.

Hello Helpful Person! Thank you for reading my question! Good Karma is
being sent your way.

I have two websites that have 4 email addresses that I have forwared to my
personal email inbox (Windows Mail). This way I can have all my emails in
one place and I dont have to visit more than one spot to check emails. I am
hosting with Network Solutions. I went online to Network Solutions and
confirmed that I have set up the protocols so that all my website emails are
being forwarded to my personal email address. Everything is set up correctly
and I haven't had any problems in the last year until 2 days ago. I sent out
test emails and nothing is coming into my personal email address. Nada.
However, if i address and email directly to my personal email address, the
email comes in and everything is fine. There seems to be a glitch with the
website email addresses being forwarded to my personal email. Also, when I
went online to Net. Solutions, the emails are not on the server there. It is
a mystery.

Just thought I'd put this topic out there and see if any Mr. or Mrs. Fix It
would come along and put me out of my misery.

All the best!

Are the missing messages found in the inbox of your personal account's
webmail page?

Hi Josie
Give some details. Domain names. Your ISP.
Your question seems to be: You’ve created, maintain and own two web sites.
Hosted by ??Network Solutions??, ??Net. Solutions?? and you want to have the
emails from
4 different email accounts / address that are available to the public/world
on your two Websites forwarded to your
personal email account that you’ve setup in Windows Mail (WM) on your Vista
machine. That everything is set up
correctly and has been working fine for the last 12 months and 2 days ago
something
changed ...

Give the details of everything a person would need to know in order to setup
an email client.
This sounds like it has something to do with some free Web based email. One
of your hotmail, Yahoo... accounts perhaps?
Don't fret, the solutions (more than one) to all this is likely simple. But
you need to supply the detail of -what-
Where -Who -When -Why -How -Was -Now -Other changes made in at least last
two days. But only if you want good directions.
In other words provide everything you can, to keep someone willing to help
from having to guess.
Little things like This is my new system with my new wireless keyboard that
I hooked up two days ago and I need to...
I assure you, if you will help spec out your question then someone already
has the solutions ready.
Right now I only guessing at all your question really involves.

By the way you need to close out all but one of the three post where you’ve
been asking the same question/provided the same verbiage,
all in the last few hours and that some have already responded to. Then
stick with one post. This one would be a a good suspect.

Hi H Brown and everyone:

I apologize for duplicating this question. When I originally posted this
question, it said there was an error so I thought "Oh Great! I have to retype
the whole thing again." Well...turns out both identical questions turned up
on this message boards. I dont know how to delete the other question now.
Sorry, my bad. I can do basic stuff on the computer but by no means am I a
techie.

Okay I have two websites: duroconstruction.com and casacolibri.org that are
being hosted with a company called Network Solutions. The email addresses
that are attached to those 2 websites are not being forwarded to my personal
email address which is with Shaw. (i.e. (e-mail address removed)). My ISP is Shaw. I
phone Network Solutions today and we ran through some steps, all to no avail.
The representative said he has never seen a problem like this before and
sent my problem to their Tech Dept. and I should hear from them in a few
days. In the meantime, Network Solutions advised me to keep a copy of Duro's
emails on the server. So i sent a test email to Duro. When I logged on to
Network Solutions under the email section, there was the test email I had
sent to Duro; however, it is not being forwarded to my personal email address
with Shaw. I also emailed Shaw's Customer Support, just incase they have any
information regarding this issue.

Have you heard of this ever happening? Did Windows Mail have an update and
now for some reason my website emails are not being forwarded to my personal
shaw email address? Honestly, I haven't changed anything in the last week so
I have no clue why this is happening.

You all have been very helpful and I appreciate somebody listening and
attempting to help me.

Let me know if you need any more information or what have you.

Cheers!

Hey again....

I just got an email from my computer wiz (he built my websites) and this is
what he said:

"Have you tried canceling the forwarding of your emails to (e-mail address removed) and
just downloading them directly as POP email in Windows Mail? It would remove
some of the links in the email chain and may solve the problem."

So...this means I can check mulitiple email addresses in Windows Mail
directly? And this would remove the step of having to forward my website
emails to my personal shaw email?? How do I go about setting this up? Any
tips? Why didn't I do this in the first place? Are there any disadvantages
to doing this?

All the best!
Josie

Windows Mail has no control over the forwarding of your domain emails.

Have you checked your Shaw webmail (https://webmail.shaw.ca)?
If it has a spam folder, the missing emails could be in that folder.

Yes, you can have up to 32 mail accounts in Windows Mail.
You have to get the mail server info from Network Solutions, assuming
that they offer POP access.
