Ad hoc Win2000 pro ICS to wired and wireless network. I got a WinXP pro
laptop.
Home internet via dialup external modem with Win 2000 pro.
Before I started reading this group I bought a wireless card for the
Win2000 machine instead of an access point of some sort.
I got them connected wirelessly anyway and sharing files. I want wireless
to the laptop and wired to the rest of the network.
If the Win2k machine was XP I read I could bridge. Is there a way to
bridge internet wired and wireless with Win2k?

Thanks for reading this.

Yes,...maybe,...sorta,...kinda,...with probably a bunch of trouble,...and it
may only work right half the time.

Buy a Wireless Access Point (not a wireless "router) and save yourself and
everyone else a bunch of trouble. Most WAPs have a few "wired" ports, so
the Win2000 machine can just plug into it if you need to. Get rid of the
Wireless nic in the Win2000 machine and save it for other machines that may
not have a Nic at all.
