Not found any Profile ....

K

Ken G.

When I boot up I'm getting a message that says "Not found any profile that
matches the current network environment. Do you want tocreate a new one?"

If I create a new one I still get the same message next time I boot up. What
does the message mean and how do I correct it?

Windows MCE.

It might be a malware deleting your profiles or messing up with the
permissions. I would suggest checking what profiles exist under c:\documents
and settings. It is recommeded you do a full system scan by a fully updated
antivirus and a malware removal application. Also ensure you have all the
recent updates installed to patch up any vulnerabilities. If the issue still
persists I would suggest checking the eventvwr for any errors reported in the
system event logs and the application event logs. Check if you disk is 100%
fine, if you have disk issues they may be corrupting the profile data during
writing.
