Not connected to Internet

The scanning and saving portion of the scanner works fine. When I want
to use the instant share feature it states that my scanner is not
connected to the internet. I am pretty sure that it is. The USB chord
is connected to the port. I have reinstalled the software, that hasn't
worked. Are there any patches I can download and install?

Whats the deal? Thank you!
