Do you know if Norton SystemWorks 2003 Professional will work on Vista as
long as I don't install the Antivirus? (I don't like the antivirus anyway.)
Thanks.

I wouldn't even try it. Wait for a compatible version from Symantec (after
Vista has been released).

Do people still use these tools :)

My mother in law does, but she doesn't count :)

I remember when Mr Norton wrote all those great hard core disk editing
tools, no geek would be without them.

and then..... he sold out :( and they just put his name on things and did
nothing.

But on a serous note, I would be interested in what they offer?

If I want todo hard core stuff like disk editing I use WinPE, and as for
hard core systems tools, I use lots of free ones from the web.

From my experiences no Symantec/Norton program is compatible to any
Windows version after 1995/1996.
