No vram detected after driver upgrade

I've tried everything I can think of to fix this problem,
and nothing will help. I installed DX9.0b and the latest
nVidia driver for my TNT2 M64 card. After I installed the
latest driver, no directx applications would work. On
DXDIAG, the video memory says "n/a" and it's a 32MB card.
How can I fix this? I'm sick of not having any of my DX
games! (I've tried rolling back to both older drivers and
older DirectX versions, nothing helps.)

You say you've tried rolling back the drivers, I assume you mean the roll
back button on the driver properties tab. Have you tried reinstalling the
older driver. I'm not sure if it would work but as you have an old card
nvidia might have dropped support and the roll back has not rolled back
properly/completely.

Can you try the card in another computer in case something broke.

That is a VERY old card and was never certified for DirectX 9. Problably
time to get a new card. The other choice would to be to remove the
drivers and install some older ones from the Nvidia site. the 42 or 45.
version ones will probably work. also rolling back to DX 8 might get you
off the hook. www.google.com for a program called DXbuster.
