no video adapter listed

Ok, I did a save restore of windows xp and my video
adapter wouldn't load. Now there isn't even an adapter
listed. In the video adapter properties window, it is
listed as VGAsave.
My adapter needs a generic to be listed befor it will
load. Any thoughts?

just re-install the drivers, after re-boot, windows should pick it up.
