(no subject)

Ok, I have all the original disks. I have all the drivers, but it
doesn't seem to help, it appears to be a problem with XP and this
particular printer talking.

I have done about 12 driver uninstall-reinstalls, I've searched the net
for every update I can find. What I need to know is if there is anyone
else who has had this problem and knows a fix for it.

I appreciate everyone who has been pointing me to drivers. But if I can
use the machine to scan and print, it's obvious I have the drivers for
it. What I can't get it to do is fax a document from the desktop. It
is supposed to be able to do this. Maybe someone knows if there is a
settings tweek I need to apply.

So if ANYONE knows any thing I can do to get this machine to let me fax
word and excel documents from the desktop let me know.

Been there, done that, have that one in my "Tech Manual". Unfortunately
it doesn't mention what to do with it will NOT work. I can get it to
ACT like it's going to, but it never actually faxes. VERY frustrating

You may then have a problem with the machine.. try HP service..

I tried them they say they don't support the machine unless I pay them
something like 70/hour and then they say they probably will not be able
to do anything about it.
