No spelling control possible in Windows Mail

Windows live mail is geen optie aangezien deze niet dezelfde agenda

heeft als windows mail. bovendien wordt windows live mail niet ondersteund

Windows Mail does not have a spelling checker for Dutch. And never will.

In the English version that is called "Calendar". The released version
of Windows Live Mail doesn't have that button, although you can certainly
open Windows Calendar outside of your email program. The current beta
version of Windows Live Mail has a calendar which syncs with the online
calendar at http://calendar.live.com. Not only are appointments synchronized
but also birthdays, which it copies from your Contacts information.

Another selling point for you is that it includes a Dutch spell checker!

Oke tell me than where is the agenda in windows live mail? I do not see it.
In Windows mail i have a agenda button.

Windows Live Mail does everything that Windows Mail does, and more.

Support from Internet providers is not an issue. If you need support,
tell them you have Windows Mail or Outlook Express. Those three
programs all use the same email settings. Even better, get all your
support in these newsgroups.

There will be no new versions of Windows Mail, nor will it ever receive
spell checking support for languages other than the ones it supports now.
If you want spell checking in other languages, upgrade to Windows Live
Mail, and post it its newsgroup for further instructions.

Inderdaad ook ik ben onthand zonder rood lijntje .... is er al zicht op de
versie met nl spellingscontrole

Enig zicht wanneer er juist een spellingscontrole beschikbaar zal zijn? 2008
lijkt me wat vaag.
Het was toch handig om een automatische controle te hebben (zoals bij
Outlook Express) want een foutje kan altijd in de tekst sluipen en de rode
onderlijning kan onmiddellijk je aandacht weerhouden. Enfin, bbij mij is dit
toch het geval.

Windows Mail biedt geen Nederlandse spellingcontrole


Windows Vista beschikt over de opvolger van Outlook Express: Windows Mail.
Op het tabblad Spelling kunt u onder Taal kiezen voor spellingcontrole in de
talen Duits, Engels, Frans en Spaans. Wanneer u een Nederlandse versie van
Windows Vista gebruikt, zijn deze talen beschikbaar. Helaas vindt u in
Windows Mail geen Nederlandse spellingcontrole. Zowel Outlook Express en
Windows Mail beschikken niet over een Nederlandse controle. Installeerde u op
een computer met Outlook Express echter de Nederlandse versie van Microsoft
Office, dan werd de Nederlandse spellingcontrole van Office gebruikt door
Outlook Express. Bij Windows Mail gebeurt dit niet. Het is Microsoft niet
langer toegestaan om onderdelen van Windows (zoals Windows Mail) te koppelen
aan onderdelen van Office. Daarom is het niet mogelijk de Nederlandse
spellingcontrole van Office in te zetten voor Windows Mail. Naar verwachting
verschijnt in 2008 de opvolger van Windows Mail. In deze versie is
Nederlandse spellingcontrole beschikbaar.

I tried for the first time to check the spelling of the mail I intended to
send via Vista Windows Mail. I got a message in Dutch: "Deze taal is niet
meer beschikbaar voor de spellingcontrole. Selecteer een andere taal in het
dialoogvenster met de spellingopties."
In English: This language is no longer available for the spelling control.
Select another language in the dialogue window with the spelling control.

However if I select Extra / Spelling control (F7) i get again the same error
message, there bis no possibility to enter the requested language.

2008 is bijna om en nog is er geen Nederlandse spellingscontrole. Vooruit
jongens van Microsoft!
