Hi,
Just installed win 2000 after having 9 trojans on my last windows os. Yeah nightmare.
Anyhow i know i can get sound from this packard bell easynote vx because i had it the other day.
I have searched for hours on here earlier posts with similar faults and tried things and still no joy.
I have downloaded the system info you recommend
my mother board is an NEC. This laptop was bought in 2001 just after noahs ark. Its been great all this time, but now i have decided to buy a inspiron 6400.
But i still want this old one to work properly (as you do).
Been in sound settings and theres no playback devices,no recording devices,no midi devices.
Searched net for 2 days to find drivers, but it would help to know what i am bloody looking for
Oh also in the system info it says none plug and play devices?
Please help oh you masters of computers and i will be forever in your debt.
