audio or the system sounds.

I know there is a prob with the hardware detection. So i
tried to installed my Yamaha OPL3-SAX but it still doesnt
work. Not sure if the Yamaha site is still running

if the yamaha you mentioned is a sound card you will need
to find drivers for xp.

You need the updated drivers for XP for your sound card if they exist on the
Yamaha website
http://www.yamaha.co.jp/english/product/lsi/us/index.html
If there are no drivers for your sound card then your best bet is to buy a
new XP compatibile sound card.

Download the XP drivers for your sound card from your sound card makers
website. If they are not available, then get and install a new sounds
card that comes with XP drivers.
