No Programs are showing up in the ADD/Remove program Box

XP Home to XP Pro Upgrade - clean install.
Interestingly enough System Retore is disabled/stopped and I can not restore
the service.

Tried Regedit and looked for prog names >63 char, but none found under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.

Any suggestions....
