No "My Pictures" on the start up menu

I can't get the "my pictures" folder to be displayed on the start up menu...
I have already right clicked the start menu icon... selected properties...
selected customize... selected advanced... checked the box for display as a
menu under "my pictures".... selected apply... selected ok... and still
nothing shows.

I repeated these steps and restarted my computer with the same results. How
do I add "My Pictures" to the start menu? Thanks for your help.

The directions you describe are to "expand" the my pictures. It's possible
that you have inadvertently moved your my pictures folder. Did you try
clicking on the ADD button in the custom section of those same properties,
and find the folder you are looking for via the browse button, and add it
that way?
