instructed me how to protect our Gateway E-4600 (Windows
2000 Professional SP1) from the worm out there in Internet
land. SP4 installed cleanly. But after the reboot the login
window is followed by the popup:
WinMgmt.exe - Application Error
---
The instruction at "0x77fcc992" referenced memory at
"0x6d657473", the memory could not be "written"
click on OK to terminate the program
click on CANCEL to debug the program
The Internet worm would have been easier to recover from
than Microsoft's SP4? Is reloading my only option? ThanX
