No Monitor

B

Bruce Lawrence

Could someone give me some ideas. I have no monitor. It is on because it
flashes a line once in awhile. I cannot hear any beeps for warnings. The
monitor is a working one for it works on my other one. The monitor is hooked
up to a AGP Card. There is no other hook-up for it. It is a P-II 2000 Pro.
Thanks for any help.

Can you install the Video card from the above computer, in the computer that
has the problem? If it works the problem is with the AGP card.

Also make sure AGP is enabled in BIOS.

Try starting the pc then F8 and choose "Enable VGA Mode" and set the
resolution and or frequency to values the monitor can accept.

Check the hardware manufacturer's web site for the latest Windows 2000
driver for your graphic adapter.
