NO DIALUP CONN. ICONS

Hi

pls. help me out.

i have a system with windows xp home installed in it. i have some dialup
connections which are not coming in the "Network Connections". I am able to
see them in IE->Properties->Connections.

Also when i connect thru any of these connection there is no icon displayed
in the taskbar after connection, although "Show icon in notification area"
is selected

pls. hepl me out

I AM STILL HAVING THE PROBLEM. IF I CREATE A NEW DIALUP CONN. IT IS
DISPLAYED IN THE NETWORK CONNECTIONS, AND WORKS UNTILL I RESTART THE
COMPUTER

If by Taslbar. you are referring to the System Tray, try this...
Right-click a blank area on Taskbar; in pop-up menu, unmark "Lock the
Taskbar". Right-click again, this time selecting Properties. In the
resulting box, select the Taskbar tab>Customize button. Next dialog box:
scroll down to the connection icon and name. Highlight to get the upside
down triangle to the right and click on it. Select the option you want.
OK, Apply, OK. Repeat method to lock the Taskbar if wanted.
