WHERE in Windows 2000SP3 can I disable the automatic starting of inserted
CD-ROM's?

Thanks. Gosh, no wonder I couldn't find it. Initially I was looking for some
simple check box option...
And I forgot to mention: I hope the same applies to DVD drives?
